The City of Hamilton is preparing to host the 4th annual City Food Festival from 16th to 21st of March.

Sample from some of Bermuda’s finest dining establishment, watch local chefs to compete in a canapé competition, and a day of cultural food delights in a festive atmosphere for both families and the distinguished food lovers alike. Tickets are avaliable online at www.ptix.bm.

Chef Competition

March 16th & 18th - 5:30 - 8:30pm - Bermuda Gas, 25 Serpentine Road, Pembroke

The Chef Competition kicks off the week of events with two preliminary rounds taking place on March 16th and 18th at Bermuda Gas. Each chef’s name will be randomly drawn from a box for night selection, with a maximum of five chefs participating per night. The winner from each night will advance to the finals taking place at the Street Festival on March 21st. All Chefs will be tasked with preparing three distinctly different canapés from a box of ingredients. The list of ingredients will be provided to the chefs five (5) days prior and the actual ingredients will be provided 48 hours in advance. This is a ticketed event.

Tickets: $35.00 per event or you can buy a passport for $60.00 for entry to both (March 16 & 18). Ticket holders will have the opportunity to sample the chef’s creations while enjoying complimentary signature beverages provided by Goslings, additional hors d’oeuvres and entry into a raffle draw for great prizes.

Goslings Wine Tasting

March 20th - 5:30- 7:30pm - Gosling’s Wine Cellar, 9 Dundonald Street, Hamilton

Wines are quite complex and exhibit various characteristics which change according to the glassware they are served in. Join us as we explore a variety of red and white wines while learning and understanding wine tasting notes.

Tickets: $100 which includes a four piece Riedel stemware set.

City Food Festival

March 21st - 3:00 - 9:00pm – City Hall Car Park

Participating in the street festival is a cross section of restaurants, caterers, and food-related companies to create an unforgettable food tasting experience. The City Food Festival takes place in City Hall Car Park on March 21, 2015. More than a two dozen restaurants and bars island wide will be featured, offering a wide variety of foods and specialty drinks. There will be multiple food demonstrations, fun-filled food competitions for the public to participate in, as well as the City Food Festival Chef Competition finals taking place live at the event. Come out and explore samplings of some of Bermuda’s finest restaurants and bars as they showcase their skills. We are looking forward to an exciting day of activities and we encourage residents and visitors alike to come out and EXPERIENCE the City Food Festival.
